PAST FELLOWSHIP INDUCTION - 2023

Welcoming a New Chapter

The FIPEM family recently celebrated a remarkable milestone with the induction of new members into our community. Held on October 8th 2023 at Makunjuola Hall, Lasu; the ceremony was filled with reflection, inspiration, and renewed commitment to our mission of service, growth, and leadership.

This was more than a formal gathering it was a celebration of shared values and a reaffirmation of our dedication to making a lasting impact within and beyond the fellowship.

Theme of the Induction

The event was anchored on the theme: “Leadership Redefined: From Service to Sustainable Change, a message that resonated deeply with all present.

The theme emphasized that leadership and service go hand in hand, reminding members that true leaders are changemakers equipped to lead, but also willing to serve with humility, compassion, and purpose.

“True leadership is measured not by the position we hold, but by the lives we touch and the impact we create.”

Highlights of the Ceremony

  1. Opening Session

The ceremony began with an uplifting prayer and worship session, setting a warm, reflective tone. Fellowship President Dr Maurice Azubuike Odiete then delivered a heartfelt welcome, expressing gratitude to attendees and urging new members to embrace the fellowship’s mission wholeheartedly.

  1. Keynote Address

One of the most inspiring moments came with the keynote address by Dr Godwin Asoto, who spoke passionately on Leadership Redefined. The address challenged members to rise above challenges, remain true to their calling, and commit to making a difference in their communities.

“When we come together with a common purpose, there is no limit to what we can achieve.”

 

  1. The Induction Proper

The highlight of the day was the official induction of new members.

During this session:

  • Inductees took a pledge to uphold the fellowship’s values.
  • Certificates and tokens were presented as symbols of belonging and responsibility.
  • Leaders shared words of encouragement, reminding inductees of the honor and responsibility they now carry.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement, unity, and hope as the newest members were warmly welcomed into the fellowship family.

  1. Cultural & Special Performances

The program also featured cultural presentations, including a drama performance and choir rendition. These creative moments added color, energy, and joy to the day, while showcasing the diverse talents within the fellowship.

  1. Closing Remarks

In closing, President Dr Maurice Azubuike Odiete encouraged members to stay connected and committed to growth. The ceremony ended with a group prayer, networking, and joyful interactions that left participants motivated and inspired.

This induction was more than a ceremony, it was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together. With fresh ideas, renewed energy, and a shared commitment to service, the future of FIPEM is brighter than ever.
